Modern 70s Gal

So these series of outfits are inspired by the latest 70s trend (obviously). I love it when elements from other decades come back into style, but I have to admit I'm sort of shocked that I was drawn in to this trend because I used to absolutely hate the 70s aesthetic. I used to picture it as brightly striped gaudy sweaters and horrendous blue jean bell-bottoms (which I'm still not a fan of) but the recent modernization of the style has totally changed my perspective. In these series of looks I tried to incorporate 70s elements into modern day looks because that's what I love about reviving decade styles. Hope you enjoy!

In The City

So 2 weeks ago my brother-in-law's mom came into town to visit and we took a little trip to London to show her all of the major sights. We set out on a rainy morning and ventured throughout little neighborhoods to finally reach our bus stop. Along the way I couldn't help but snap a few pictures of the little apartments that we saw on our journey.  I love the fact that even in a city as big as London their are these cozy little wonderlands where people live hidden in the outskirts of the city. I've always dreamed of myself living in a little apartment on the outskirts of a big city, so hopefully I can use these pictures for inspiration for my own home in the future.
